T5 Light Waves are now available in three different versions and because they are proving extremely popular, The BigShop has been able to reduce prices significantly. The introduction of a new smaller propagation light to this range from Maxibright- the T5 2’ 4 Tube, makes this new form of lighting more accessible for smaller scale nurseries and propagators.

T5’s are next level technology and are better suited for propagation than the older 55w PL tubes in terms of power consumption and output light. Tubes are available in 2700 Kelvin (red) and 6500 Kelvin (blue). Each tube delivers 4450 lumens of light with a very low heat output, which means the tubes can be placed very close to plants(3-4cm) delivering massive amounts of light compared to HID lighting.

The Light Wave’s are all made to very high quality standards and are made to optimise light crossover between tubes without wasted output, whilst achieving a more regular spread of light than can be achieved with a CFL. Obviously, if the light is spread evenly, then plant growth will be more uniform. The 4’ Tubes are 54w and the 2’ Tubes are 24w each. Blue T5 Tubes come as standard with your choice of size.

 Each system comes with an on/off switch, and the larger T5 4’ 4 Tube is switched to operate the four central tubes & the four outer tubes independently of each other.

All units are supplied with 3.1m of cable running to a 13amp plug. A decent timer or Grasslin Segmental timer are perfect for running your Light Wave- no contactor is needed.
