Root Riot 1" rapid rooting cubes are an excellent alternative to 1" rockwool cubes or Jiffy 7's. These are fully organic and made from a mixture of peat, coco coir, and bark taken from hardwood trees in their spring growth cycle, meaning these are loaded with a fast growth hormone for rapid rooting. They come in a sealed bag, already moistened, ready to go, due to the fact they also have had beneficial bacteria added to them. Just spray the young plants as if it were rockwool, you will find that Root Riot will not become 'sodden' like rockwool can.
