We offer a large range of Propagation products for seedlings and cuttings which are designed to give small plants and stock/ mother plants the best possible start and help develop a large root mass which will always be of great benefit for growing prize winning specimens. For those taking cuttings we have Clonex Rooting Gel, which has been used successfully by horticulturists and indoor growers for many years and the more recent Juicy Roots from Advanced Nutrients of Canada, which, we are told by our customers, is giving very high survival rates for slips or cuttings. We also stock Formulex, which is a gentle food for young plants and Nitrozyme, which is a high Nitrogen product, also full of trace elements and bio-stimulants.
MAM from Metrop is a significant product designed especially for stock plants or mother plants. It contains phosphorous and magnesium and growth stimulators like Kelpac and it can be administered in the nutrient solution and also as a foliar feed. As with all successful foliar feeding, be sure to use some Wetting Agent first, which will break down the oils on the leaves temporarily, thus allowing for better absorption of the foliar feed.
Rhizotonic from Canna is another market leading product that stands out. It is a cuttings booster that helps with very fast root development and prevents against mould and acts as a kind of plant vaccination. Cannazym is a great plantcare product also (use it on your stock plant if you keep one), that helps break down a plants older root system and regenerate the root mass, thus allowing for increased nutrient uptake and more growth.
We keep B’cuzz Root Stimulator and we sell more of this stimulator than any other, with discounts available on 5 litres, although most customers use the 250ml size. BioBizz Root Juice is another alternative root stimulator, and is particularly but not exclusively used by soil growers with excellent results.
For giving your seeds or cuttings a good start use either a Jiffy Plug, pre-soaked and moist or we have Root Riot starter cubes which are made from peat, coco-coir and hardwood spring bark. They come in a sealed bag to maintain their moisture and the beneficial bacteria. They don’t allow themselves to become sodden, as rockwool can do. Use Root Riot as a starter plug for soil and hydroponics- they fit perfectly into a 3” rockwool cube. We also stock a full range of B’cuzz rockwool for hydroponic growers in our Grow Media section.
