The HPS to Propagation adaptor lead is an ingenious device that we have had especially made for B.I.G shop customers. For those of you running an Ecolight or Envirolite lamp this may be of interest. It features a 13amp plug connected to a 2m 3-core lead with a female IEC connection on the other end. So,you may say? What this does is do away with the need for a second reflector when changing your lights from High Pressure Sodium ballast to fluorescent Eco/Envirolights for propagation set up. Unplug your reflector from your HPS ballast. Remove your cooled 250/400/600/1000w lamp from reflector. Connect your reflector to the adaptor lead and screw in your 125/ 200w Eco/ Envirolight(which is self ballasted in case you didn't know)and plug in to your plug socket or timer. When changing back to HPS ballast follow the same process in reverse. Job done! And money saved from not needing a second reflector....Brilliant!
