Our Gro-Tanks- The GT205, GT424, GT604, GT901 & GT100, come in a variety of sizes as detailed below. They are all hydroponic systems and they use the principle of Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) to distribute water and food to your plants root systems. They are Re-Circulating, as opposed to Run-to-Waste, with an appropriate sized pump bringing liquids up from the Tank or Reservoir below to the Tray which rests with a lip, in and on top of the Tank. The Tray is manufactured with a built in slight height drop from one end to the other and there is a grid pattern molded in the plastic. Liquid is evenly distributed at the high end of the Tray and it runs down the Tray, through the roots of your plants, and falls back into the Tank. Always using Spreader Matting with NFT, helps to break up the surface tension of the liquids so that it runs evenly across the Tray and waters all the root zone area. A Correx cover is used to cover the root zone completely (you cut holes in the correx when planting out), so no light reaches the roots.

The GT205 is ideal for a first time NFT grower or a closet type grow. It will do 1-3 plants. Dimensions are: Tank 69.5 x 38.5 x 18.5cm Tray Channel 56 x 34.5 x 5cm Volume 20 litres.
The GT424 is an iconic system and probably more of these have been sold in Britain and Ireland than any other NFT system. It will grow 3-5 plants. Its dimensions are as follows: Tank 101 x 48.5 x 20.5cm Tray Channel 94 x 44 x 5cm Volume 45 litres.
The GT604 is a longer system and will allow 5-8 plants to flourish. Tank 152.5 x 48.5 x 19cm Tray Channel 136 x 44 x 5cm Volume 60 litres.
The GT901 has been redesigned and is now a more sleek size ie long and narrow. 6-12 plants will do well. Tank 211 x 53 x 21.5cm Tray Channel 196 x 53 x 8.5cm and Volume 80 litres.
The GT100 is a meter square Gro-Tank and is the most recent addition to our Gro-tank range. It will accommodate 9-16 plants. Tank 120 x 106 x 21.5cm Tray Channel 106 x 106 x 8cm Volume 100 litres.
