The Dark Street DS90 MK11, now being sold by Belfast Indoor Gardening, is made with Dual layered diffused Mylar fabric 190D with 95% reflection (which was the fabric used in the original more expensive Dark Room MK1). It has a 2 year Manufacturers Guarantee. Increased light proofing up to Level 1 gives the grower a tidy, discreet growing space, which can be set up or removed conveniently, with the added benefit of no screw holes and DIY bodges needed to prepare a growroom.
Its’ dimensions internally are 90 x 90 x 160cm, which is 40cm shorter in height than the Dark Room DR120 MK11 but may suit some peoples space better. Optimized size is for a 250w/400w HPS lighting system with a 4” or 5” Extractor and Carbon Filter of course.
Structurally it is made up with Tubes 15.9mm Diameter, of 0.5mm steel and the corner pieces are made of Type 70D plastic- good quality. The floor has a removable water tray of 8cm height up the sides and the floor is also Mylared to keep light levels up. The Front Door has a 10mm Zip, which is waterproof and lightproof.
There is an extraction sock in the roof and also a high up 76mm sock for cables to pass through, and a further sock about 30cm off the floor for intraction- to allow fresh air to come in at root level. There is also a mesh type ventilation window and a pair of Strap-Its in the ceiling for hanging a filter.
Assembly is easy enough for 1 person and with no special tools required. The fabric is washable at temperatures less than 40 degrees C. The DS90 MK11 is a great option for a new grower, or those wanting an extra small space for a nursery or mother plant.
