The new Dark Room DR60 MK11 from Secret Jardin of France comes with increased light proofing Mylar up to Level 11 95% reflection. Its’ dimensions are 60 x 60 x 160cm, suitable for a 250w High Pressure sodium set up, or a CoolShade. The steel Support tubes are 15.9mm diameter and 0.7mm thick and will handle additional weight in the form of a Light and Carbon Filter etc up to 30kg.
The Corner Joining Pieces are made with Newly Engineered Plastic and are 3 times stronger than on the original MK1 Dark Rooms. The fabric is new 210D, with 2.5 times the tear strength and 3 times the abrasion wear proofing of the original MK1 model. The water tray is removable with an up the side height of 10cm and is 95% reflective with a Mylar surface.
It has 1 front door with a waterproof strong 10mm lightproof zip and it has 2 windows both 30 x 20cm, with new improved Lightproofing Mesh and a fabric Sealable Shutter and an optional Shutter for a Carbon filter.
Inside there is a 60cm removable Handling Tube for a light and 2 x removable Handling Tubes for a Carbon Filter with a maximum load handling of 20kg per tube to a total max weight of 30kg. To help keep things tidy in the growspace it comes with 1 pair of StrapIT’s 0-30cm and 5 x HookIT’s for cables, Easyroll light hangers, ducting etc. Incorporated in the design, you get 1 x Extraction air sock Diameter 152mm (6”) for air out and 2 x Intraction air socks Diameter 152mm (6”) to enable fresh air to get in.
There are 2 x Cable socks at low and high placings, Diameter 76mm, which is big enough to pass a plug through and they can be tightened easily.
The Dark Room DR60 MK11 comes bagged, in a box. The total weight of the unassembled/assembled DR60 MK11 is 6.8kg. It is very quick and easy for one person to put up and take down, with easy to follow simple instructions. In 2010 the manufacturers Secret Jardin upgraded both ranges of Dark Room’s and Dark Streets, so basically the new MK11 Dark Streets are what the Dark Rooms used to be, and the new Dark Room MK11’s are even better build quality with extra new features.
