CoolShades are great to use in a confined space or an area of low height. A 5”(125mm) or 6”(150mm) HVK extractor fan is connected to one end of the tube(with or without ducting) and air is pushed or sucked through the cool tube,thus removing the heat from the lamp (250w,400w or 600w). This allows the tube and lamp to be much closer to your plants without burning them thus giving you lots of extra growth.

 Dimensions of 5” are 120mm x 400mm- use up to 600w only. Dimensions of 6” are 150mm x 400mm- may be used with 1000w. Supplied with ceramic lamp holder,lead and IEC connector (kettle type connection).

 We now also stock the Twin CoolShade , dimensions 150mm x 800mm which allows you to put a lamp in either end and still add an inline extractor.
